LISTING OF SELECTED COLLEGES AND CEGEPS
What follows is a list of colleges throughout
Canada that offer technology programs. Colleges are listed by province
and territory, moving from west to east. Since there are too many programs
to list, we would encourage you to explore the college web sites to
find out if they offer the programs that interest you, or to contact
the colleges directly for more information. Please note that in Quebec,
college is called CEGEP (pronounced see-jep) an acronym for collège
d'enseignement général et professionnel.
The colleges listed with an asterisk (*) offer
nationally accredited programs. This means that the programs have been
assessed against a set of national standards. This guarantees the quality
of the program and encourages its continuing improvement. Accreditation
also ensures that graduates from those programs can work at a certain
level of ability as soon as they enter the job market.
